We are looking for a Specialist Project Improvement to take the lead in providing training, coaching and program management for the embedding of project management framework & business improvement initiatives in the Sustaining Capital Division of Iron Ore, delivering capital projects across the Pilbara.

This is a great opportunity to work with key business stakeholders to lead improvement initiatives in addition to supporting the overall program to realise the division’s full potential.

Reporting to the Senior Advisor Services andStrategy and working in a collaborative, inclusive & diverse team; you will:

  • Maintain, improve & build capability of the Sustaining Capital Project Management Framework & it’s users.
  • Assist with governance of project management framework.
  • Facilitating workshops & team days for Sustaining Capital.
  • Creation & development of content for cultural shift, strategic change & building capability in team workshops.
  • Lead of organizational improvement initiatives; supporting creation of career framework for sustaining capital, embedding inclusion & diversity, & sustaining capital workforce of the future.
  • Momentum & PDP creation, maintenance, reporting, training & processing.
  • Develop effective initiative scopes, facilitate & contribute to lessons learned.
  • Developing and leveraging strong working relationships with key internal and external customers to drive continuous improvement.

What you’ll bring

  • Experienced in organisational change management and cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic thinker coupled with passion for improvement and delivery.
  • Highly effective communication & facilitation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Commerce, or related discipline.
  • Experience in operations, capital projects, process improvements, or similar.
  • The ability to harness influential leadership with proven stakeholder management experience.
  • Proficiency with creating training & workshop content.
  • Lean Six Sigma & Momentum skills desirable

This position will be based in the Perth CBD at our Central Park building.
