About the Role

Reporting to the Track and Condition Monitoring Lead your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Plan, develop, improve, maintain and manage Condition Monitoring database management systems and software.  
  • Design and maintain database architecture, data structures, to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all data master files
  • Implement and administer database documentation, guidelines and procedures
  • Test and trobleshoot database systems and upgrades, resolving all identified problems
  • Prepare and maintain documentation, instructions, and recording and detailing operational procedures and system logs
  • Develop, conduct and provide technical guidance and training in application software and operational procedures
  • Analyse, evaluate and diagnose technical problems and issues such as installation, upgrade and configuration of software and databases.
  • Test, identify and diagnose functionality errors and faults in systems, and programming code within established testing protocols, guidelines and quality standards to ensure systems perform to specification
  • Identify technology limitations and deficiencies in existing systems and associated processes, procedures and methods
  • Write and maintaining program code to meet system requirements, system designs and technical specifications in accordance with quality accredited standards
  • Implement data processing, visualisation, dashboards, reports, and automation.
  • Monitor and validate data accuracy through analysis and audits.  
  • Streamline track analysis programs/reports with Track AM system.
  • Software trouble shooting & help desk support to team and stakeholders.
  • Liaise with vendors and BHP technology team for data integration and system updates.
  • Strives to achieve 100% safety, 100% customer value and 0% waste.
