About the Role

We are seeking a Specialist of Risk that will support the Superintendent of Risk in the Operations Services (OS) team. We are seeking an experienced individual for the implementation, embedment and adherence to risk management process and frameworks.  Your key deliverables include:  

  • Executes activities to support OS compliance with key internal and external requirements;

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders (include senior management) to implement routines and changes that will drive results and effective management of risks across all facets of OS;

  • Engagement with assets and asset Risk Business Partners in influencing updates to their risk profiles based on OS risk exposures. 

  • Facilitation of Growth and Growth Readiness Risk Assessments for new OS deployments. 

  • Utilise a range of tools and to provide meaningful insights into performance against requirements and opportunities for improvement;

  • Executes practical plans to achieve high performance aligned to OS strategic plan;

  • Provides primary risk management support for existing and new OS deployments.

About You

We are looking for individuals that are self-motivated and possess business knowledge to drive business improvement outcomes. You will have experience in executing risk management processes. To be successful you will demonstrate the following:  

  • Experience in management of risk, assurance and compliance activities;

  • Proven ability to build and manage relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders (including senior leadership) including geographically dispersed and virtual teams;

  • Experience in facilitation and coaching;

  • Experience in the resources, energy or industrial sectors;

  • Exposure across a broad spectrum of business activities and processes.
