About the Role

We are currently seeking x 2 Specialist Delivery Shutdown Planners to support the Asset Projects Port & Rail, Central and Eastern Pilbara Mines and NiW projects team.

Reporting to Lead Delivery Shutdowns the Specialist Delivery Shutdowns role is critical in supporting our Asset Project Teams in the effective execution of all Process Infrastructure Shutdown Projects within the Western Australia Asset Projects Portfolio. The role will play an integral role in the following:

  • Liaison with Delivery (Owners Team) and panel contractors to ascertain program of works and feasibility
  • Work with WAAP planning team and maintenance shutdown teams and refine planned works scheduled into the shut plan ensuring operational interface is managed as well as consideration for commissioning
  • Facilitation of weekly shut down planning meetings across respective project site based WAAP Shutdown co-ordination meetings so as to drive the plan.

Shutdown Activities

  • Review and management of the day to day WAAP Shutdown Gantt with attention to the shutdown critical path and update to operations daily 
  • Manage overall project interfaces with maintenance and other work groups during the shutdown
  • Report on accurate daily planned v actual shutdown updates to the maintenance and projects shutdown team(s) 
  • Assist shutdown execution in preparation for oncoming shift
  • Assist commissioning ensuring consistency to shutdown processes, procedures and systems 
  • Area Owner role where required

Post Shutdown

  • Undertake shutdown post review, Lessons Learnt and produce and present shutdown close out report inclusive of lessons learnt
  • Implement continuous improvement on process

About You

  • A safety focused leader who will champion safe work practices, set and maintain a high standard within the workplace
  • Effective time management skills to priorities work in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Strong communicator with the ability to form trusted relationships and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of end to end development, planning and execution of project shutdowns
  • Proven track record of successfully coordinating & managing shutdowns in a maintenance and or project environment
  • Well versed in MS Project and or P6 
  • Highly experienced in 1SAP,  Work management systems & Fiori 
  • Highly organised to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • C Class Drivers Licence
  • Ability to work within an integrated & diverse team and work effectively under pressure
