About the Role
Reporting to the Superintendent Biodiversity within WAIO HSE, this role provides effective and safe site coordination for contractors, traditional owners and internal stakeholders to deliver biological field surveys to meet project and WAIO Environment Approvals Schedules, and to enable environment approval pipeline (3, 6 & 12 month) and Life of Asset (LoA) Plan. The role involves regular site travel and field supervision and coordination.
This role is being offered full time on a 2 year Fixed term contract, with the possibility of extension. Key responsibilities will include:
- Supports the development and delivery of work plans, manages the execution of administrative functions and communications, designs/carries out essential data management practices and fosters a positive team culture to drive efficiency across administrative processes and safe operational routines.
- Applies logistics management and planning procedures and requirements to safely and efficiently meet field survey schedule and stakeholder demands.
- Applies logistics management procedures and requirements to safely and efficiently meet stakeholder demands, including some MSIA Section 26 supervision of field teams.
- Identifies, engages and manages a range of diverse internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, traditional owners and other internal functional stakeholders to maximise operational performance and ensure safe delivery of surveys.
- In collaboration with functional and site staff and contractors develops supports the development of survey safety and management plans.
- Prioritises work effort and resources accordingly.
- Engages the capabilities of the entire organisation.
- Strives to achieve 100% safety, 100% customer value and 0% waste.

About You
To be successful in this role, you have the following skills and attributes:
- Highly organised and process driven with experience in mining project planning, mobilisation and logistics in the Pilbara.
- Experience in mine site and remote operations in the Pilbara.
- Good MS Office and report writing skills, including document management and control experience
- Experience in planning and operational systems and processes
- Effective communication skills and demonstrable experience in communicating at multiple organisational levels.
- Previous experience in organisational planning and contractor engagement / management.
- Safety and risk focused with experience in safety planning and managing safe systems of work.
Location
You will be based in Perth, Western Australia, in the multi award winning office tower - ‘City Square’. You will have stunning river views from your modern open plan office, state of the art facilities including virtual whiteboards and video conferencing facilities, 550 bicycle racks with ample lockers, showers and change room amenities and a large outdoor terrace with barbecues.
You will be required to travel to the Pilbara regularly for short periods subject to project need.
