About the Role

This is a stellar opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Specialist who truly enjoys a 360 recruitment role. You will be responsible for the end-to-end process from sourcing and screening underground mining personnel, administration to mobilisation. Given the fast paced and dynamic nature of the mining industry, you will need to thrive working with urgency and under tight time constraints for your respective sites. With exceptional stakeholder engagement, you will partner with your hiring managers and deliver the optimum level of service to our sites. You will be responsible for maintaining recruitment data to ensure reporting to the business is accurate and available as required. This is an integral role sitting in a wider Talent Acquisition Team of industry experts, who collaborate and celebrate success.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years Talent Acquisition / Recruitment experience, preferably in the Maintenance or Mining and Metals industries
  • Demonstrated experience in a fast paced, blue-collar environment
  • Previous experience in a fast paced 360 recruitment role including advertising, interviewing, background checks and mobilisation
  • Proactive talent attraction: know what channels to use and how to engage and nurture talent into the hiring line. 
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement
  • Providing consistent best-practice approach to the hiring process and ensuring top candidate care is given
  • Ability to maintain a recruitment database (success factors) to the highest standard
  • Experience in Talent pool creation management and optimisation; demonstrating an understanding of the candidate market and aligning talent for future opportunities. 
  • Collaborate and provide feedback to the TA team on candidate and market insights to assist with end-to-end TA process.
