About the Role
Due to an increased demand from the business to support high priority Inclusive & Diversity work, we have multiple opportunities available on a 12-month fixed term within our Australia-based Global Business Services HR team from now until July 2025.
These roles are essential in supporting our Minerals Australia Inclusion & Diversity Regional Levers initiatives at BHP. The “Attract” workstream will broaden our current sourcing strategies to engage high performing diverse talent. These positions can be based in either of our BHP offices in Brisbane, Perth or Adelaide.
The successful candidates will:
- Re-engage high performing diverse talent.
- Demonstrate exceptional networking and engagement strategies.
- Demonstrate experience with sourcing channels such as LinkedIn Recruiter and Seek Talent Search.
- Utilize varying recruitment resources and methodologies to identify, engage and deliver diverse past BHP employees into the business.
- Talent pool qualified candidates who are ready to make an impact from day one.
- Support Leaders to champion our inclusion and diversity agenda.
- Deploy a BHP Alumni Program targeted at high performing diverse talent.
- Sustain an effective BHP Alumni network and help foster a community of former employees and generate referral candidates.
- Identify and promote BHP career pathways for returning talent and coach leaders on hiring decisions.
- Personalized communication strategies to engage with past employees through our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.
- Track and report delivery to project KPIs and continuous improvement opportunities.
- Ability to promote the BHP Employee Value Proposition.
- Demonstrate strong influencing, candidate engagement and candidate experience strategies.
About You
The ideal candidate for this role will possess post-secondary qualifications in a related field or equivalent work experience.
In addition, the successful candidate will:
- Be an experienced recruiter
- Have a growth mindset and learning agility.
- Understand and apply BHP ways of working.
- Understand and manage stakeholders and their priorities; Influence acceptable outcomes.
- Guide negotiations to an acceptable outcome based on pre-determined stakeholder requirements.
- Collaborate with key decision makers across the organization to implement changes that will drive results.
