The Opportunity

The Platform Teams are accountable for delivering business value throughout the lifecycle of the South32 global platforms and embody the deep technical expertise of the Technology function.  The responsibilities of the Service Management Platform Teams include analysis, design, development, deployment, monitoring, innovation, support, maintenance, optimisation, availability management, risk management, contract, and vendor management.

Accountabilities  

Primary responsibilities are to: 

•    Governance:  Defining and operating a framework for making decisions, managing stakeholder relationships, and identifying legitimate authority.
•    Risk Management: Planning and implementing organisation-wide processes and procedures for the management of risk to the success or integrity of the enterprise.
•    Audit: Delivering independent, risk-based assessments of the effectiveness of processes, the controls, and the compliance environment of an organisation.
•    Consultancy: Providing advice and recommendations, based on expertise and experience, to address client’s needs
•    Methods & tools: Ensuring methods and tools are adopted and used effectively throughout the organisation.
•    Service Level management: Agreeing targets for service levels and assessing, monitoring, and managing the delivery of services against the targets
•    Supplier Management: Aligning the organisation’s supplier performance objectives and activities with sourcing strategies and plans, balancing costs, efficiencies, and service quality
•    Contract Management: Managing and controlling the operation of formal contracts for the supply of products and services.

•    Qualifications, Experience and Technical Skills 

•    Relevant Service Management / Technology certifications
•    Proven knowledge and experience in platform thinking on a global scale
•    Deep technical skills and knowledge of Service Management practices and lifecycle. 
•    Minimum 5 years of ServiceNow Hands-On experience
•    Sound knowledge of contract and vendor management processes and practices
•    Customer focused. Puts customer first and demonstrates a commitment to ensuring satisfaction.

Location

This role will be based at our corporate office in the heart of Perth CBD with stunning river views.
