About The Role
Caval Ridge is located in Queensland's Bowen Basin on the traditional lands of the Barada Barna people.
We are currently seeking an experienced Specialist Trainer to drive operational excellence through coaching and performance analysis. You’ll play a key role in improving safety, productivity, and workforce development.
This role is FIFO from Brisbane/Cairns or DIDO, with a roster designed for maximum field engagement. You’ll report to the Production Superintendent - Overburden.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and develop training for frontline operators
- Conduct crew observations and one-on-one coaching
- Use data and drone footage to highlight performance
- Support trainers in targeting underperformers
- Facilitate training during downtime and wet weather
- Promote safety and open communication
- Drive continuous improvement and compliance
About You
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across a range of teams
- High level of computer literacy and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Understand learning foundations, frameworks and the integration of these into the design of training programs to facilitate best practice learning experiences for participants
- Skilled in designing effective training programmes
- Able to coach learners of all experience levels
- Committed to continuous improvement and inclusivity
