About the Role
As the Specialist Value Chain, you will play a vital role in the contract management of multiple Asset wide contracts, critical to production. You will be required to:
- Build trusted relationships with key asset, functional and vendor stakeholders
- Keep abreast of key external trends both functionally and Supply market perspective, new innovation and newly emerging risks
- Driving collaboration by participating in cross-functional teams to identify and execute opportunities to reduce TCO (i.e. considering not only price but utility, demand, productivity and so on)
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to drive total value chain outcomes related to external spend using best practice tools such as clean sheeting, eAuctions, TCO analysis
- Effective communication of strategies to all levels of internal stakeholders, from senior leadership to frontline operations
- Sustainably ensure that value is delivered from sourcing activities, through robust contract management
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to support the development and implementation of complex, regional and / or global categories and sourcing strategies
- Substancial experience in Procurement activities such as large scale contract management and sourcing
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, with the ability to manage and influence stakeholders across multiple geographical regions
- Identify risks and appropriate commercial control options
- Ability to think laterally to independently resolve issues and influence change
- Role models an ability to thrive in ambiguous environments
- Exercises sound judgement to listen; ask the right questions; validate assumptions and understand stakeholder requirements
- Skilled in conflict management & facilitation
- Approaching work with a strategic mind-set including the ability to identify new opportunities and drive them to implementation
