About the Role
New South Wales Energy Coal consists of the Mt Arthur Coal open-cut energy coal mine in the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales, Australia. The site produces coal for international customers in the energy sector.
The purpose of this role is to contributes to the development, maintenance and communication of work plans for assign equipment/areas of responsibility in line with Work Management processes and the Total Equipment Strategy.
Reporting to Superintendent Infrastructure your accountabilities include:
• Develops, optimises and governs asset/maintenance strategies to drive continuous improvement and replication of best practices across assets and equipment while optimising value for the long term • Plans, schedules, executes and reviews maintenance work orders and activities to maximise efficient production across BHP • Determines the underlying cause of problems and evaluates multiple solutions to ensure a planned and structured approach to solving complex problems • Manages new and existing sets of master data, runs and cleanses reports to remove errors and improve the quality of master data across BHP • Knows our customer and is obsessed with meeting their needs • Strives to achieve 100% safety, 100% customer value and 0% waste • Engages the capabilities of the entire organisation

About You
• Proficient in SAP system • Demonstrated experience with the Work Management process • Coaching skills with effective communication, relationship building and interpersonal skills • Facilitator skills with attention to detail • Ability to align continuous improvement initiatives to strategic objectives • Ability to manage and drive performance in a peer group
Location In this full-time permanent position, you will be bas eon residential at Muswellbrook NSW and working on Monday-Friday roster. As these roles are residential, successful applicant will be required to live within a safe distance from our mine site, aligned with our fatigue management policies. Please note accommodation and travel is not provided for these positions.
