About South Flank
Located approximately 130km north-west of Newman, South Flank together with Mining Area C will become one of the largest iron ore hubs in the world, within reach of several billion tonnes of high-grade ore. South Flank will help to maximise the volume and quality of BHP’s iron ore production, which is essential for the world’s steel.
About the Role
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced planner or execution specialist to build the capability within the Fixed Plant Department to ensure safe execution of tasks.
Reporting to the Fixed Plant Superintendent within the Fixed Plant team, this role will be responsible for:
- Performing front-line process support to 1SAP end users.
- Supporting Supervisors to ensure work management processes are followed
- Analyse work management data and use that data to help close and learning gaps with the department
- Coaching and guiding a number of stakeholders to ensure the adoption and sustainability of our standard processes, and effective system use.
- Identifying development areas for users.
About You
As a successful candidate you will possess the following:
- You will have proven experience in a relevant or equivalent role.
- Have a passion for 1SAP and compliance with Master Data standards.
- Experience in using process and system data in the compilation of performance reporting, and end-user experience tracking.
- While it is not mandatory, but highly desire if you have maintenance knowledge or maintenance planning experience.
- You will have effective communication skills, with a proven ability to articulate plans clearly and precisely and work collaboratively across teams to achieve common objectives.
- You will be a team player with the ability to collaborate across the entire team.
- Minimum C class manual driver’s licence is required
In this full-time permanent position, you will be working on Fly-in-Fly-out from Perth or Drive-in Drive-out from Newman to South Flank on an 8 days on 6 days off roster.
Our South Flank mine is located approximately 130kms North West of Newman, West Australia. The outstanding facilities at the FIFO village include several fully equipped gyms, a swimming pool, putt putt, and virtual golf, squash courts, netted cricket pitch, tennis and basketball court, and a recreation room including a pool table, darts, table tennis, TV and DVD player. All rooms at the village have their own ensuite bathroom, television, refrigerator, and air-conditioning.
