About the role
Finding better ways to provide the materials the world needs.We are looking for a motivated Superintendent Contract Management to lead the Contract Management team within the broader Resource Development Planning team. The Contract Management function delivers timely execution of external contracting partner performance as per the contract obligations. It supports planning and scheduling activities through contractor resourcing and readiness to meet programme demands. It drives sustainable practices through monitoring and management of contractor KPIs, managing compliance to policies and process mapping.
Contribute to continuous improvement culture through developing a technology roadmap to foster contractor innovation, and encouraging the adoption of leading practices within Contractor groups.

You’ll manage your own team of specialists, and work with key stakeholders across Resource Development, developing a long-term contracts strategy. Reporting to the Manager Planning, you will also be responsible for:
Developing your team’s capability through ongoing coaching and mentoring, structured training, and support.
Owning, standardising and driving continuous improvement of our contract management standards working collaboratively to benchmark and adopt best practices.
Overseeing the day-to-day management of vendors including the set-up of contracts and vendor reporting requirements.
Ensuring that Resource Development contracts are effective and designed to meet evolving business requirements and standards, focusing on safety, quality and productivity.
Owning and driving strategic initiatives to support delivery of Resource Development plans whilst assisting with our annual budget planning processes.
Contributing to Planning and Scheduling activities by developing an optimised resourcing profile and liaising with contract partners to secure resources.

Where you will be working
You and your team will be Perth based with opportunity to work flexibly from home combined with time in our Central Park offices. Our wider team is spread across a combination of Perth and Pilbara Resource Development sites. This role is open to both full time and part time applicants. There will be some Pilbara site visits required, however this can be accommodated on a very flexible basis.
