About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and influential leader for the role of Contracts and Training Superintendent in the BMA Broadmeadow team. Reporting to the Compliance Manager, the Contracts and Training Superintendent is a pivotal role supporting the mine site in ensuring compliance to Broadmeadow’s Contractor Management Plan and Tracks Training Scheme. You will provide direct leadership to a team of contracts and training professionals that provide effective and exceptional support of the Broadmeadow Safety and Health Management System. 

About You

The successful candidate will possess the following: 

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage a variety of stakeholders effectively
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, maintaining a balance between current and future priorities
  • Provide in field Auditing of contract partners CMP ensuring compliance to Safety Health Management System both on the surface and underground
  • Monitor, support and report on the effective management of the Contractor Management and Training systems against relevant legislation and corporate governance
  • Dynamic and inclusive leader with great ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills (detailed analysis, well-reasoned judgement, and decision-making skills with attention to detail) including the ability to identify and recommend improvements
