As Superintendent Decarbonisation - HME Maintenance in the Solomon Mobile Maintenance team, you will provide direction and support to the maintenance team the implementation of new equipment, safely and to statutory requirements ensuring we are operationally ready. You will leverage your operational knowledge to build on Solomon’s culture and success while using your experience to lead a culture of continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensure Solomon Mobile Maintenance is operationally ready for delivery of new carbon neutral equipment
- Assist the site maintenance teams to understand the relevant legislation and regulations related to HV electrical machinery maintenance
- Provide focused leadership on risk management and promoting a safety culture
Qualifications and Experience:
- A strong background and technical understanding of a range of large scale mining equipment,
- Extensive knowledge in Mobile Maintenance Field Equipment with proven leadership experience at Superintendent level
- Strong background in heavy mobile maintenance and equipment lifecycle/strategies
- Knowledge of Mines Regulations and Act and Occupational, Health and Safety legislation and other relevant legislation and regulations
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Trade certification in an Electrical Discipline
