About the role

Reporting to the Manager Engineering Portfolio, Programs and Design, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers to manage the design deliverables for Engineering’s capital portfolio to cost, time and quality.

Responsibilities include:

  • Build and maintain strong working relationship within Project Management teams 
  • Drive excellence from our alliance of engineering service partners across cost, schedule, quality and value optimisation 
  • Strategically plan the allocation of work to our alliance partners, matching internal resourcing capacity and capability
  • Build capability within the team to unlock performance
  • Draw on the teams capability to improve the value stream and remove waste
  • Proactively seek feedback from customers to maintain alignment on performance and improvement opportunities

About You

As the successful applicant you will possess the following:

  • Engineer qualified with knowledge of project management
  • Experience managing engineering deliverables across multiple disciplines
  • Previous experience leading and developing a high performing team
  • Ability to engage, coach and influence multiple stakeholders at varying levels of the organisation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
