Nickel West is a fully integrated mine-to-market business. Our culture is rich with technical know-how, highly efficient and focused on innovation. The business employs over 2500 people from five operations across Western Australia comprising of nickel underground and open-cut mines, concentrators, a smelter and a refinery. About the Role

We are actively seeking the talents of an Execution Superintendent to join the Nickel West Team based in Leinster.

Reporting to the Leinster Processing Manager, this is an ideal development role for a motivated and passionate individual to progress your career within mineral processing will be part of excited growth at Leinster.

Key projects and initiatives this role will lead or support include:

  • Collaborating with site stakeholders to optimise results
  • Leading a culture of safety and productivity across multiple projects
  • Support from an operational aspect the implementation of capital projects 
  • Support Continuous improvement initiatives to maximise production, recovery and workplace improvements 
  • Lead the implementation and embedding of Fatality Elimination Program of works
  • This opportunity allows for the development of exposure and experience across all production aspects of the concentrator operation supported by experienced and capable teams. 

About You

To be successful in this role you will have a background in mineral processing combined with genuine passion for continuous improvement, are results focused with a demonstrated track record working with others to achieve successful business outcomes.

In addition, we are ideally looking for the following skills and experience:

  • A passion for leadership and development of both technical and production teams in an operating environment
  • A consistent focus on safety and production through leading and coaching
  • The ability to work autonomously to develop and implement programs/projects which may also be across multiple sites or functions within the wider Nickel west or concentrator
  • Ideally experience in operations such as Mineral Processing, Refining or similar
  • The ability to collaborate and build positive business partnerships
