About the role
This role is a great opportunity to optimise plant performance by managing the work cycles of multiple discipline areas by understanding reliability of fixed plants and train load out facilities. Working a 9-day fortnight and reporting to the Manager Fixed Plant, you will be:
- Managing HSE aspects of daily operations of the work group
- Implementing and sustaining the critical risk management and safety maturity of the team
- Executing and reviewing of maintenance activities, planning and scheduling of preventative maintenance
- Understanding and managing the arrangements of budgets and reducing costs
- Leading and fostering the safety culture onsite and within the community.
About you
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in leading diverse teams
- Experience managing improvement projects
- Managing and setting of budgets
- Proven experience in building capability of teams
- Mechanical aptitude
It will also be beneficial but not essential to have:
- Processing plant experience or equivalent
- Exposure or experience with SAP programmes specific to maintenance
- Experience in RCA tools and MS Office suites including Office, Excel, Power Point and Visio
- Tertiary education
