About the role

This role is a great opportunity to optimise plant performance by managing the work cycles of multiple discipline areas by understanding reliability of fixed plants and train load out facilities. Working a 9-day fortnight and reporting to the Manager Fixed Plant, you will be:

• Managing HSE aspects of daily operations of the work group
• Implementing and sustaining the critical risk management and safety maturity of the team
• Executing and reviewing of maintenance activities, planning and scheduling of preventative maintenance
• Understanding and managing the arrangements of budgets and reducing costs
• Leading and fostering the safety culture onsite and within the community.

About you

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Demonstrated experience in leading diverse teams
• Experience managing improvement projects
• Managing and setting of budgets
• Proven experience in building capability of teams
• Mechanical aptitude

It will also be beneficial but not essential to have:

• Processing plant experience or equivalent
• Exposure or experience with SAP programmes specific to maintenance
• Experience in RCA tools and MS Office suites including Office, Excel, Power Point and Visio
• Tertiary education
