About the Role
You will be responsible for ensuring the HR strategy is embedded within the Australia business. Accountable for delivering high quality proactive HR guidance and support to internal stakeholders and client groups. This role will be heavily focused on delivering cultural change programs contributing to both a psychological and psychosocial environment for our people to create a diverse, inclusive and flexible workforce that reflects the communities in which we operate.

Key Responsibilities
- Implement the strategic HR business plan for the Australasian business unit.
- Develop bespoke plans for individual projects where appropriate and aligned to the overall Contract Mining vision.
- Coach and mentor leaders to improve the capabilities required to build and foster a strong value driven culture.
- Provide guidance and coaching to HR Business Partners, ensuring appropriate opportunities for growth and development.
- Regularly measure and monitor culture and climate within the business unit.
- Facilitate the implementation of employee lifecycle activities within the business.
- Contribute to the development, revision and implementation of HR related policies, procedures and processes.
- Facilitate workshops and training.
- Manage formal grievance investigations and dispute resolution, as required.
- Manage applications to FWA.
- Support the company tendering processes by ensuring submissions to HR tender items and provision of legislation and HR operational research, within required deadlines.
- Actively engage in continuous improvement by identifying opportunities, researching solutions and presenting and facilitating change management plans
- Drive robust diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and champion employee engagement, culture and wellbeing.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- A tertiary qualification or significant professional working experience in a senior HR generalist/OD role, preferably within the mining and/or resources sector.
- Exceptional communicator with demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong ability to analyse data to determine performance and action.
- Ability to influence and drive change.
- Proven ability to apply knowledge of employment legislation, awards and agreements, policies and best practice.
- Experience in delivering cultural, and organisational change programs within a dynamic organisation
- A passion for building culture through reinforcing company expectations and values
- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple, diverse projects.
