About the Role
Reporting to the Manager of Technical Automation and Identity, this role will lead and build a team of exceptional Identity Principals and Specialists. This is a role where you will be providing leadership to a high-performing team, enabling the team to develop, uplift and implement BHP’s Identity Access Governance (IAG), Identity Access Management (IAM), and Privilege Access Management (PAM) Platforms. This role will be key to align on the Identity Strategy and Roadmap for BHP and will be required to maintain a strong partnership with the Cybersecurity teams to ensure BHP remains safe and secure.
In this role you will:
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise to Customers, Stakeholders and Management
- Help define the Identity strategy across all Identity platforms, programs, initiatives and capabilities to align with BHP strategic and security goals
- Manage critical controls, risk management, and compliance and governance activities
- Identify, build and develop team capability through ongoing and regular coaching and development
- Provide support and guidance to the team and leadership regarding escalated incidents
- Encourage and promote continuous improvement by constantly looking for opportunities to improve work practices and procedures
About You
- Experience in the delivery of Identity solutions. This should include designing, implementing, monitoring and supporting key platforms such as: Active Directory, Azure AD, Digital Certificates, Access Governance Platforms
- Hands-on technical experience in systems integration or software engineering of IAM & PAM solutions (such as Beyond Trust, CyberArk, Sail Point, Saviynt)
- Experience or exposure to User lifecycle management processes, workflows and technologies
- Operational experience in supporting Enterprise organisations (Mining and/or oil and gas preferable)
- Highly capable of building constructive long-term relationships
- Identify risks and appropriate control options
- Demonstrate the confidence to lead by example, hold yourself and others accountable and coach others
- STEM Bachelor’s degree highly desirable.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and agile ways of working.
