About the Role

  • Lead and manage site support teams to ensure adherence to maintenance practices and risk governance processes
  • Ensure compliance with BHP Contractor Management Framework policies, and procedures to support operational excellence
  • Oversee and optimise work management processes, ensuring seamless coordination between planning and maintenance
  • Drive governance and compliance initiatives, ensuring all processes align with corporate and regulatory
  • Manage data reporting for operational performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including operations, maintenance, and corporate teams, to drive best practices
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to the site support team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance in work management
  • Support change management initiatives related to governance, compliance, and reporting.

The position is Brisbane based - can be flexible with other locations in QLD.

To be successful in this role, you will have: 

  • Familiarity with SAP ERP, Microsoft suite of products or similar systems
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within site support, maintenance, or operational governance
  • Strong understanding of work management processes and governance frameworks in a mining, industrial, or heavy industry environment
  • Experience ensuring contract compliance, particularly within the CMF framework
  • Strong analytical and data reporting skills, with the ability to interpret and present operational data
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to drive process improvements and manage change effectively
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to governance and compliance best practices.
