We are actively seeking the talents of a driven and highly motivated Superintendent - Maintenance Execution Mobile Equipment to join the Nickel West Team.

Reporting to the Mount Keith Mobile Maintenance Manager, in this key position, you will be strive to ensure the Surface Mining Mobile fleet is safely and cost effectively maintained.

Key Responsibilities will include: 

  • Lead the delivery of benchmark equipment reliability, through effective Continuous Improvement processes
  • Effective application of Preventative & Predictive maintenance
  • Drive Field Leadership routines including safety and risk management
  • Nurture a positive, safe and productive team environment
  • Prioritise the development of employees through coaching & mentoring

About You

To be successful in this role you will have extensive experience in Surface Mobile Equipment Maintenance Management with demonstrated exposure to safety leadership, risk management as well as training and development of field leadership routines.

In addition, we are ideally looking for the following skills and experience:

  • A background in both Surface Mobile Equipment maintenance and management within a large tracked and wheeled fleet environment.
  • An engineering and/or trade qualifications within a relevant engineering or maintenance discipline
  • An overriding commitment to health, safety, environment and the community.
  • Results focused with a demonstrated track record managing successful, cohesive teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Location

Nickel West Mount Keith is located 490 kilometres north of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia.

The operation sources nickel ore from the Mount Keith Surface mining operations before crushing and processing to produce a concentrate. The Mount Keith Village offers a comparable FIFO lifestyle with all the modern conveniences – a swimming pool, health and fitness centre, walking / running track, Dry and Wet Mess facilities.
