We are looking for a Superintendent Mobile Equipment Maintenance (MEM) to lead the Hope Downs 4 MEM team to implement transformational change to become the best MEM team in the world.

Reporting to the Greater Hope Downs MEM Manager you will be:
- Demonstrating a personal commitment and passion for safety.
- An engaging and inspirational leader to transform the safety culture to become an interdependent culture.
- Fostering a culture of both step-change transformation as well as continuous improvement.
- Collaborating with other leaders and teams across multiple sites to collectively grow the wider business.
In addition to the above, this role will provide regular site leadership coverage and support all departments across site offering the successful candidate exposure to a variety of work fronts.
What you’ll bring
- A passion for your people and genuine care for their safety and wellbeing
- The ability to engage and inspire and drive transformational change
- Confident in effectively leading, mentoring and coaching team members as well as interfacing with senior leaders, with a desire to build and lead engaged teams
- A can-do pragmatic attitude with a structured approach to delivering strategic objectives
- Experience in both maintenance planning and maintenance execution with prior leadership experience at supervisor and superintendent level
- A solid understanding of heavy mobile maintenance best practice
- A current Australian driver's license

Where you’ll be working
Located 50km north-west of Newman, Hope Downs is a joint venture managed and operated by Rio Tinto, working in conjunction with nearby site Hope Downs 1. Hope Downs 4 provides excellent career growth and opportunities and the village provides excellent facilities for its FIFO workers.
