We are looking for an engaging, safety focused Superintendent Mine Water Management to join the Mine Operations team at Brockman.
This is a great opportunity for a leader with great communication skills to lead a diverse team. Reporting to the Manager Mine Operations you will be joining and experienced Superintendent group and leading a developing dewatering team in a challenging and exciting environment. You will be:
- A valued partner of the Mine Operations team.
- Actively engaging and influencing the wider operations teams to improve the site’s safety, cost and production outcomes.
- Collaborate and partner with our extensive supporting functions to ensure Dewatering leading practice is implemented and sustained.

What you’ll bring
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- Prior Dewatering, Mining or Maintenance experience preferable.
- Be an engaging leader who can engage, influence, coach and motivate both your immediate team but also your wider stakeholder group.
- Be resilient, proactive and pragmatic with the ability to drive progress and change within a dynamic environment.
- Have leadership experience and be confident in leading, developing and coaching team members

Where you’ll be working
Located 60km north-west of Tom Price, Brockman is wholly owned and operated by Rio Tinto. Opened in 2010, this open pit operation offers a family friendly fly in fly out roster with state-of-the-art camp facilities.
The Greater Brockman Operations consist of Brockman 2, Brockman 4, Nammuldi and Silvergrass. Driving the latest technological advancements, the open-pit mines offer an avenue for opportunity and career progression.
