About the Role
We are enthusiastically seeking the talents of an experienced and engaging professional to join the BHP team in the capacity of Superintendent Mine Services.
Reporting to the Manager Mining Mount Keith, this role will oversee the day-to-day running of Infrastructure services, Site services across Mount Keith to enable a safe operation.
Key Responsibilities in this role will include:
- Strategically plan and execute a cross functional portfolio of works including dewatering , Mine control and enabling activities
- Participating in field leadership, safety meetings and managing key safety investigations relevant to the team
- Provide guidance to supervisors empowering them to drive performance within their team
- Positively shaping the Site Infrastructure & services Culture in alignment with BHP Charter values, Respectful Behaviours and Our Vision.
- Interfacing regularly with all site based customers to deliver our requirements
- Leveraging BHP Operating System (BOS) by developing & maintaining improvement projects across site infrastructure teams
- Accountable for monitoring area expenditure/trends and put remedial controls in place to meet budget requirements within the Mining department.
- Taking responsibility for identifying and resolving systemic issues, and for assessing the potential impact on our Site portfolio
About You
To be successful in this role you are extremely output focused with a demonstrated track record in mentoring and coaching others to achieve outstanding results. You possess excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build effective business partnerships with a strong focus on maintaining a positive team and safety culture. As the successful candidate, you will ideally possess the following:
