About the role

We have two opportunities for a Superintendent Mobile Equipment Maintenance (MEM) to work at Brockman 4 and Greater Nammuldi, strategically leading the respective MEM teams to implement transformational change including actively promoting safety awareness and safe work practices, with the aim of driving consistent performance, and innovation in relation to safety, cost, and production.

Reporting to the MEM Manager at the respective site and working in a challenging, exciting environment you will be:

  • Demonstrating a personal commitment and passion for safety, inclusion, and respect
  • An engaging and inspirational leader to transform the safety culture to become an interdependent culture
  • Fostering a culture of both step-change transformation as well as continuous improvement as part of our Rio Tinto Safety Production System
  • Mobile Maintenance execution, planning, scheduling, and engineering leadership

In addition to the above, this role will provide regular site leadership coverage and support all departments across site offering the successful candidate exposure to a variety of work fronts.

  • A can-do pragmatic attitude with a structured approach to delivering strategic objectives
  • A track record of Maintenance Execution, Planning, Scheduling and Engineering, backed by a suitable trade or engineering qualification
  • A current Australian driver's license (Manual)
