About the role
At Perenti Contract Mining we are passionate about the growth of our people and as a testament to this, we have an exciting opportunity available following an internal promotion. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Superintendent Organisational Development to join our team. Reporting to the Manager Organisational Effectiveness, this global role will collaboratively contribute to the overall human resources strategy and be instrumental in developing and supporting the implementation of workforce strategies to transform and progress Perenti Contract Mining’s performance, culture, and leadership capability. This is an opportunity to truly partner with our business leaders, take ownership, drive organisational development and have impact at a global level.
This is a permanent role, based at our offices in Canning Vale. Occasional site travel may be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Partnering with business leaders to assess the capability of the leadership cohort and design/re-design a framework that will reduce the capability gaps across all levels of leadership.
- Leading the global talent management and succession planning initiatives, including working with key stakeholders to deliver identified outcomes.
- Proactively identifying and coordinating opportunities to develop and strengthen organisational culture.
- Support the organisational effectiveness team with designing and implementing organisational development and organisational change initiatives that create a culture of diversity, inclusion and continuous improvement.
- Working with internal stakeholders on business-wide initiatives such as mentoring programs, preventing and managing risks associated with psychological health and engagement activities.
Key Requirements
- An experienced practitioner with a track record of leading organisational wide culture programs and initiatives.
- A Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Human Resource Management, Organisational Psychology or a related business discipline.
- Passionate about leveraging culture, equality, and inclusion to improve experiences and generate meaningful business outcomes.
- Previous experience in the mining industry will be advantageous.
- A customer focused professional with the ability to build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders.
- An excellent communicator with the ability to influence and engage across all levels of the business.
- Flexible and able to deliver in an environment with changing priorities and competing tasks.
- A pragmatic approach to design and development of programs.
