About the role:

We are seeking a Principal Capital Planning PMO to join our SCS Asset Management team based in Perth, within the SCS Asset management team based in Perth. You will be joining a high performing team, to engage, develop and improve contracting teams' performance through visible leadership while working on strategic projects to maintain our rail assets.

Within this role, you will report to the SCS AM Planning Manager, and be responsible for the following:

  • Leads and manages the program management office (PMO) for Capital project for the Supply Chain Services (SCS) Asset Management team (AM)
  • Develops and promote project management systems & project control guidance for AM studies and projects
  • Provided governance and strategic direction to the capital portfolio
  • Manages relationships with project control stakeholders, BA and finance
  • Manage a small team of professionals

To succeed in the role, you will have:

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with sound written communication skills
  • Advance working knowledge of project controls process and governance functions
  • Problem solving skills and analytical capacity

It would be desirable to have:

  • Business, finance, or related degree

Where you will be working

This secondment will be a Perth-based role with an ad-hoc requirement travel to site within our greater Pilbara business. This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly formed team working on a Mon-Fri Day Shift only roster.
