About Olympic Dam

About the Role

Reporting to the Manager Planning and Asset Health, this role is responsible for the translation of Maintenance Strategies and Corrective Works for Mobile Mining and Fixed Plant Equipment into fully resourced and detailed work packages that support Olympic Dam. The role will require travel to site as required.

In this role you will:

  • Ensure compliance to standard planning and scheduling processes and utilisation of business systems
  • Determine the underlying cause of problems and evaluates multiple solutions to ensure a planned and structured approach to solving complex problems
  • Strive to achieve 100% safety, 100% customer value and 0% waste
  • Drive collaboration across MECoE teams and other corporate functions to achieve corporate objectives
  • Build business partnerships and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders internal and external to the business
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to support customer group by leveraging continuous improvement and BHP Operating System practices
  • Be focused on creating a culture of care by being a visible safety leader through engaging, developing and coaching your team whilst ensuring an overriding commitment to health, safety, environment responsibility and sustainable development

About You

  • Solid understanding of maintenance execution, maintenance strategies, planning and scheduling with mobile and / or fixed plant
  • Experience in Asset Management or Tertiary or Trade qualification in a technical discipline
  • Foundational leadership experience and engagement of teams that support high quality and engaged delivery
  • Experience implementing continuous improvement strategies with financial and commercial acumen
  • The ability to engage and find positive outcomes with internal and external stakeholders
  • Well-developed engagement skills with an interest in providing leadership, stewardship, support and solutions
  • High level communication and influencing skills
