We are looking for a Superintendent Fixed Plant Operations to lead, coach and develop the members of the Fixed Plant Operations team and our Greater Nammuldi Operations. Your role will ensure the team is set-up for success against business priorities and the seamless safe delivery of operational activities.
Reporting to the Manager Fixed Plant, you will be supported in your efforts in continually seeking to improve our processes, cost efficiency and productive capability across the operation. Your role will include but not be limited to:
- Leading the focus on sustaining and improving a strong safety culture throughout the site
- Leading and coaching a Operations team, consisting of frontline supervisors, coordinators and operators.
- Leading the operations team to identify and manage asset risk, ensuring the right work balanced for SOP and asset integrity
- Ensuring that the operational teams are inspecting the asset and is delivered in line with Rio Tinto best practice to maximise productivity and equipment reliability
- Fostering a culture of continuous improvement, supporting the team in the implementation of improvement initiatives and technical advances
- Developing, monitoring and controlling approved budget to deliver cost effective services that meet the business needs while ensuring compliance with the relevant statutory legislative provisions
Where you’ll be working
Located 60km north-west of Tom Price, Brockman is wholly owned and operated by Rio Tinto. Opened in 2010, this open pit operation offers a family friendly fly in fly out roster.
The Greater Brockman Operations consist of Brockman 2, Brockman 4, Nammuldi and Silvergrass. Driving the latest technological advancements, the open-pit mines offer an avenue for opportunity and career progression.
