We are actively seeking the talents of a Production Execution Superintendent to join the Nickel West Team based in Mount Keith
Reporting to the Mount Keith Processing Manager, this is an ideal development role for a motivated and passionate individual to progress your career within mineral processing will be part of excited growth at Mount Keith
Key projects and initiatives this role will lead or support include:
- Implementation of new Fine Nickel Recovery technology which is supported by an extensive capital program
- Continuation of continuous improvement initiatives including advance techniques and technology such as process controls, advance analytics, new flotation techniques (eg StackCell)
- Expansion of concentrator capacity including the construction of a 3rd SAG Mill
- Water Recovery and Tails Management including Mineral Carbonisation program
This opportunity allows for the development of experience across all aspect of the Concentrator operation support by experience teams and well developed processes
About You
To be successful in this role you will have a background in mineral processing combined with genuine passion for continuous improvement, are results focused with a demonstrated track record working with others to achieve successful business outcomes.
In addition, we are ideally looking for the following skills and experience:
- A passion for leadership and development of both technical and production teams in an operating environment
- A consistent focus on safety and production through leading and coaching
- The ability to work autonomously to develop and implement programs/projects which may also be across multiple sites or functions within the wider Nickel west or concentrator
- Experience in operations such as Mineral Processing, Refining or similar
- The ability to collaborate and build positive business partnerships
Location
Nickel West Mt Keith is located 460 kilometres north of Kalgoorlie in the Northern Goldfields. Nickel West Mt Keith is a surface mining operation with multiple open pits and a concentrator plant. The operation is surrounded by pastoral stations, with the nearest townships being Leinster and Wiluna. There’s plenty to keep you entertained in the Mt Keith Village. Take the heat off the day and head to the pool – or join in any number of social activities. Employees commute to and from Perth on a fly in / fly out roster or form regional areas on a drive in / drive out roster.
