We are seeking a highly motivated and safety-driven Superintendent Production to join our Paraburdoo operations. Taking ownership of your team, this is an exciting opportunity for an engaging individual who has a passion for leading, while promoting positive safety and people culture through visible and tangible leadership.

Reporting to the Mine Manager working on a residential or FIFO 8/6 roster, your key responsibilities will include:
Day-to-day management of all open pit production operations including planning activities for the site
Be an inspiring role model and coach for positive behaviours, practices and processes, whilst providing leadership, development and support to the mine operation teams
Managing optimisation projects and driving continuous improvement initiatives
Driving a strong safety culture which ensures adherence to procedures for operational activities, site standards and legislation.
Leading, organising, developing and motivating your teams to exceed expectations and targets, while building meaningful succession pathways for your staff
Developing and implementing key productivity improvements to drive operational efficiency
Working collaboratively and fostering relationships with key partners to achieve wider business objectives
Measuring, recording, analysing and reporting on safety, people and productivity activities to consistently exceed plan and improve performance
What you’ll bring
Proactive with a strong commitment in driving a safe working culture
Must currently hold, or in the process of obtaining Quarry Managers certificate
Experience working in operational leadership roles and be confident in effectively leading, mentoring and coaching team members as well as interfacing with senior leaders
Autonomous haulage system experience. Frontrunner would be highly regarded
A desire to build and lead engaged teams
Prior contractor management experience would be desirable
Understanding of the mining industry from both an operational and technical perspective
Mining operational optimisation knowledge and/or experience
Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve safety and operational outcomes and delivery of targets
