About the role

We are seeking two engaging, safety and productivity-focused Superintendent Project Delivery to lead our onsite project delivery teams supporting at each of our Paraburdoo and Yandicoogina operations. Reporting to the Manager MEM at the respective site, this role has strong business exposure and is a great opportunity to showcase your influencing and stakeholder engagement skills.
You will be responsible for executing divisional capital projects <$2m to enhance productivity, safety, asset reliability and meet anticipated project demand in alignment with Rio Tinto standards, while maintaining compliance with relevant legislative and statutory requirements.
This role presents a fantastic opportunity to draw on your people leadership skills and commercial acumen, coupled with your technical knowledge to manage the portfolio of strategic turnkey solutions for either Paraburdoo or Yandicoogina.These roles will suit an adaptable passionate people leader who has a proven track record of success with effectively leading, mentoring, and coaching team members, business partners, contract partners and senior leaders.
About you
- Proven safety leadership skills and the ability to engage and with a wide range of internal and external of stakeholders
- Have solid multi-discipline portfolio management experience, with the ability to define and implement project improvement initiatives to maximise capital efficiency
- Capable to manage a team delivering projects from early phases to close-out
- Ability to work with diverse teams and manage multiple programs of change and continuous improvement activities
- Experience with evaluation studies for potential and identified projects including leading of scoping, feasibility and engineering studies that assists the company to achieve production targets
- Previous exposure with project management of approved site capital projects utilising a formal project management framework
- Tertiary level qualifications in Project Management, Engineering or similar (seen as advantageous but not essential)
