About the Role

The purpose of this role is to ensure Whitehaven Coal is on track to deliver strategic commitments via tracking performance and to ensure HSE technology platforms deliver effective solutions.
In the role, you will lead HSE planning routines, build & embed system capability and execute tasks related to performance improvement. Through strong communication, you will manage a team to provide regular insights to senior leaders on HSE performance through data analytics and visualisation. The role creates value through provision of reliable data, insights, verifications, stakeholder engagement, facilitating routines which deliver performance and remediation of process weakness.

What You’ll Do

• Engage with teams across operations to support the development, monitoring and reporting of performance metrics against targets
• Development of Performance data, insights, recommendations and presentations to support planning routines
• Contributes to companywide improvement efforts by working with cross-functional teams
• Partners with teams across operations to drive system governance and guidance on process standardisation 

What You’ll Bring

• Qualifications / experience in project management / business improvement / change management or willingness to achieve relevant qualification/s.
• Qualifications / Experience in HSE related IT Platforms (ARM, SAI, Pegasus, CMO, INX etc) with competency in MS Office Suite and Power BI or equivalent.
• Ability to engage and influence large and diverse teams at multiple levels in the organisation focusing on customer requirements
