Superintendent Travel – Perth

About the role

We are looking for a Superintendent Travel to lead a key area of our People Logistics function at Rio Tinto. This role is a great opportunity for a dynamic and inspirational individual to take the next steps in their leadership journey by performing a critical role navigating change and leading a large dynamic team.

Reporting to the Manager People Logistics, and working in a challenging, exciting environment you will be:

  • Demonstrating a personal commitment and passion for safety, inclusion, and respect
  • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and customer service
  • Leading, coaching, mentoring and guiding your team through regular change, where timely decision making is required
  • Lead that team that facilitates people movement for our iron ore workforce
  • Manages relationships with our airline partners from Perth and our regional hubs
  • Collaborate with and support our offshore teams

Where you’ll be working

You and your team will be Perth-based with opportunity to work flexibly from home combined with time in our Central Park offices. There will be the opportunity for some Pilbara site visits from time to time, however this will be done on an ad-hoc basis.
