Work Location:

Fortescue’s East Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk Noongar people.

Roster:

Monday – Friday

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join the Fortescue team. 

Key accountabilities will include:

  • Support for General Manager HIVE Control and Head of Decarb Delivery including support of:
    • Diary management, i.e. scheduling, response management, seat allocation, forward planning
    • Team management and communications, i.e.  participate in regular team meetings, taking actions for follow-ups, internal communications development and distribution
    • Reporting, i.e. support preparation of monthly and quarterly reports and presentations, in collaboration with respective team or department managers
  • Supervise a team of 2 administrators to ensure effective rostering and duty assignments across a range of business administration duties (i.e. onboarding and mobilisation, purchasing administration, etc.)
  • Coordinate internal and external planning days and various team meetings and functions throughout the year
  • Act as the key liaison with other departments (i.e. People Operations for mobilisation, flights & accommodation, Office Management, Information Management - document control / Sharepoint)
  • Optimise and automate processes and administrative guides to support the administration team and internal stakeholders
  • General business administration as required

Qualifications and skills required:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration and/or Communications is desirable
  • Previous experience as Personal Assistant and/or extensive administrative experience supporting Senior Leader(s)
  • Experience in leading a team is desirable
  • Advanced computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office Suite, SAP and other corporate administrative software / digital tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent organisation skills and high attention to detail
