Work Location: Cloudbreak 

• Fortescue’s Cloudbreak mine is located on the traditional lands of the Palyku and Nyiyaparli peoples.

Roster: 8D/6R – FIFO ex Perth

Role overview:

Manage the teams workflow, team performance and development while ensuring safety and health guidelines are followed in the delivery of effective utilization of the Autonomous Haulage Fleet using Command Minestar.

Key accountabilities will include:

• Promote and embody Fortescue’s values in the work environment
• Provide visible safety leadership by demonstrating safe behaviours
• Accurately roster and coordinate personnel to ensure seamless operations
• Coach, mentor and develop team members in achieving Key Performance Indicators
• Support the execution of the 24-hr plan
• Maximising the use of the fleet management system to minimise disruption and maximise safety, productivity, and efficiency
• Liaise with various departments to execute improvement projects identify to maximise safety, productivity, and efficiency

 Qualifications and experience required

• Demonstrated people leadership experience is preferred
• Proficient in Minestar Command Fleet Management System
• Mining Operator experience is highly regarded
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to maintain the teams positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Current WA Drivers Licence
