Work Location: Cloudbreak - Fortescue’s Cloudbreak mine is located on the traditional lands of the Palyku and Nyiyaparli peoples.
Roster: 8 days/6 off, 7 nights/7 off – FIFO ex Perth
Reporting to the Truck, AHS & Infield Superintendent, this role will be responsible for supervising the AHS maintenance team in ensuring the AHS technology is supported across HME. You will be accountable for the planning, organising, supervision and control of personnel.
Key accountabilities will include:
- Display strong leadership with experience in a mobile maintenance field
- Possess strong Caterpillar experience for the range of heavy mobile fleet
- Provide dynamic leadership skills and strong prioritisation of workload across 300+ pieces of equipment
- Ability to develop the AHS team through the technology field
- Embed our continuous improvements to the department
- Lead and coach site technology technicians in high maintenance standards & ensuring safe practices are always performed
- Ensure the AHS fleet meets the budgeted availability target
- Ensure compliance to skills training matrix for self and direct reports
- Conduct field interactions and complete incident investigation in BMS
- Identify, develop and publish SWI's
- Adherence to the weekly maintenance plan
- Demonstrate strong safety values
Qualifications and skills required:
- Trade qualified – Heavy Mobile Equipment Mechanical / Electrical
- Site based Mobile Maintenance Supervisor experience essential
- Experience in maintenance and repair of Caterpillar Mining Haul truck
- Strong supervisory experience and leadership skills
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Proven commitment to safety
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft office and SAP
- Strong understanding of maintenance strategies
