We are looking for a safety focused Building/Infrastructure Supervisor to lead, mentor, coach and develop a team of maintenance personnel who are responsible for maintaining all operational infrastructure.

You’ll be part of a friendly team who is committed each other’s success. Your leader is supportive and will provide the environment for you to learn your role and succeed in your goals. 

This is a great opportunity for an experienced infrastructure supervisor/coordinator or a capable future leader with who is looking to take the next step in their career. You will enjoy a family-friendly 7 days on, 7 days off residential roster at Port Hedland or FIFO from Perth. Reporting to the Superintendent Maintenance you will be:

  • Providing direct supervision and leadership to a team of multi-disciplined routine and project based contractors
  • Allocating and coordinating both planned and unplanned maintenance activities across the assets including buildings, workshops, port facilities and water networks
  • Working closely with key stakeholders across various site based departments
  • Providing contractor management support when third party contractors are working (or operating) on non-process infrastructure
  • Driving a positive safety culture through proactive, visible and authentic safety leadership
  • Identifying and driving cost savings and fostering a continues improvement culture

What you'll bring

  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
  • Be proactive with a commitment in driving a safe and inclusive team culture
  • Previous experience at managing contractors, including aspects of HSE, schedule, quality of work and contract compliance
  • Ability to work with diverse teams and manage multiple programs of change/continuous improvement activities
  • Hold a current "C Class" WA Manual Driver’s License
