Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for safety and operational excellence? We’re looking for a Supervisor – Contract Management to join our exciting new Hope Downs 2 project, overseeing the execution of our Road Train Haulage services contract.
In this pivotal role, you’ll bring together your strong leadership capabilities and technical expertise to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of contracted services. You’ll work closely with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate daily operations, drive performance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Reporting to the Project Delivery Superintendent you will also be:
Managing the engagement and performance of external contractor and suppliers and monitor the quality and standard of services
Supporting the global contractor management governance program, so that there is a uniform approach to system use, data analytics and compliance
Identifying and driving cost savings and fostering a continuous improvement culture
Working closely with key stakeholders both internally and externally, and across various site based departments
Driving a positive safety culture through proactive, visible and authentic safety leadership

Exposure to contractor management
Statutory Position Legal Exam – Statutory Supervisor
Contractor Management Qualification
Ability to achieve outcomes through influence and collaboration with others
Hold a current "C Class" WA Manual Driver’s License

About Hope Downs 1 & 2
Located approximately 100km north-west of Newman in Western Australia, Hope Downs 1 & 2 is a joint venture operation managed by Rio Tinto, working closely with the nearby Hope Downs 4 site. The project offers attractive FIFO rosters of 8/6 and 7/7, providing a balanced lifestyle for our team members.
