About the Role

BHP’s Mt Arthur Coal is the largest individual coal production site in the region. Located less than 5 kilometres from Muswellbrook, NSW we produce high quality, clean energy coal for international and domestic customers. Mt Arthur Coal can offer experience and great career development opportunities. 

Reporting to the Processing Superintendent, you will work a 24/7 rotating roster leading a multi skilled production team to achieve key targets while maintaining a safe working environment in the CHPP. The Processing Supervisor role requires a person with solid leadership and problem solving skills. Some exposure to wash plant or similar industry experience would be desirable but not essential.

Duties will include:

  • Working alongside the logistics Coordinators, Process and Grade Control Engineers;

  • Managing a multi skilled team and building a solid cultural base;

  • Supporting the training and development of your team;

  • Lead team improvements;

  • Hazard reporting and field leadership;

  • Creating a safe to speak up team environment;

  • Pre shift and toolbox meetings.
