Due to our ongoing growth, Macmahon are currently seeking enthusiastic and experienced people to join the team at the Warrawoona Gold Project mine located 25km from Marble Bar. Macmahon have secured a 5-year Surface mining contract with Calidus Resources, this mine is developing 1.5 million ounces.

We are currently seeking for experienced Drill & Blast Supervisor on a 2:1 roster to the Project with responsibilities not limited to:

• Ensure a safe workplace is maintained and personnel are trained/competent
• Ensure safe working procedures and practices are in place and adhered to
• Supervise and lead a team of drill and blast personnel 
• Identify and implement improvement opportunities leading to safer workplaces, increased productivity and increased efficiencies
• Ensure clean-ups are completed in line with drill schedule requirements
• Safe and efficient operation of the entire drill fleet 
• Maintain all assets to a high standard

To be successful you will have the following skills and experience:

• Shotfirers Licence
• Previous Blasting and/or Shot firing experience
• In-depth knowledge of the overall Drill and Blast process
• Certification in Frontline Management 
• Have a high level of communication skills
