We currently have an opportunity for an experienced individual to join our Drill and Blast team at Jimblebar. We are looking for individuals motivated, adaptable and eager to learn and Lead a team of successful Drill and blast professionals.

About You

As the Drill & Blast Supervisor, you will be leading a team of personnel as well as plan the forthcoming drill & blast activities. This position plays a pivotal key role in ensuring the Jimblebar daily and weekly production targets are met and the statutory and company audit schedules are maintained. This role will also have a heavy emphasis on ensuring all working standards are compliant and take a proactive stance on continuous improvement initiatives.

If you are an outcome focused, energetic leader who is passionate about safety and have the ability to build great relationships within teams, then you will be an ideal candidate to be part of our team.

As the successful candidate you will possess the following:

•            C Class Drivers Licence.

•            WA Dangerous Goods Security Card.

•            Supervisory experience in large scale open pit equipment operation.

•            WA Shot Firer's license is highly recommended, as is previous experience with electronic detonation systems.

•            Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement.

•            Prior experience leading, coaching and mentoring employees to deliver on plan and building a competent and engaged team.

•            Have a working knowledge of Mine Safety & Inspection Act & Regulations.

•            Experience in D65 Epiroc Rigs.

•            Experience in Atlas Pit Viper 271 Rigs.

 Desirable but not Essential:

•            WA Dangerous Goods Drivers Licence or willing to obtain.

•            Heavy Rigid (HR) licence will be considered highly advantageous.
