Supervisor Drill Maintenance 

Work Location: Cloudbreak - Fortescue’s Cloudbreak mine is located on the traditional lands of the Palyku and Nyiyaparli peoples.

Roster: 8D/6R FIFO ex. Perth

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Supervisor Drill Maintenance. The main responsibilities for this role include supervision of all maintenance personnel on site while undertaking maintenance of drill rig and support equipment, in accordance with the manufacture’s (OEM) specifications and Fortescue’s procedures.

Key accountabilities will include

• Manage parts, consumables and supplies to ensure the continuous operation of the fleet
• Manage the execution of the Waterwell Maintenance Plan 
• Manage fleet breakdowns and offsite repairs as per FMG & SAP work management processes
• Ensure all records relating to fleet maintenance are maintained and kept up to date 
• Manage the prestart inspection process
• Identify critical spares for Waterwell fleet, and assist with addition to store stock
• Oversee SAP records for defect management and repairs of Waterwell fleet
• Oversee the SOS oil sampling system

Qualifications and skills required:

• Trade Certificate as Heavy Diesel Mechanic or similar (Drill experience preferable)
• Hold a current C class license (HR preferable)
• High level of safety awareness and orientation
• Ability to lead a team of skilled trades people
• Extensive experience with SAP and Work Management Process
• Experience in hydraulic and compressor diagnostics
