We are looking for a Supervisor Electrical to provide leadership to their team and actively promote safety awareness and safe work practices; maintain site electrical compliance and ensure all electrical safety requirements at met at the Paraburdoo Operations. You will have a supportive leader that will not only set you up for success in this role but will continue to work with you to develop your career aspirations.

With the opportunity to either fly in and out of Perth on an 8 days on, 6 off roster or to live residentially and enjoy the luxury of returning to your home after each shift, this role offers great work life balance. Roster flexibility may be required during shutdown execution periods. Reporting to the Fixed Plant Shutdown Superintendent, you will be:

  • Be an inspiring role model and coach for positive behaviours, practices and processes, whilst providing leadership, development and support to your team
  • Ensure all notifiable electrical works are scoped, designed and carried out in accordance with all relevant statutory regulations and business standards and policies
  • Ensuring all Rio Tinto Iron Ore safety systems and comply with State and Federal regulations and standards
  • Contribute to the HSE system and increase awareness to enable an injury free and environmentally responsible workplace
  • Drive continuous improvement projects which include cost saving and production efficiency projects
  • Complete daily inspections of all work areas and regular on the job interactions with the team to develop a safe and efficient work culture
  • Managing key safety investigations, preparing reports and recommendations, and implementing corrective and preventative actions

  • A current and valid ‘C Class’ manual driver's licence
