About the role
We are looking for an Electrical Supervisor to lead a team, who will actively promote safety awareness and safe work practices, while maintaining electrical equipment.
The areas of responsibility are the Power Transmission Network, Distribution to Parker Point, EII, Rail Facilities, Dampier Town, electrical installations for Hydrocarbons assets, Wastewater handling plants and back up generation on Critical Sites.
This role is an opportunity for a leader looking to further their career in a challenging environment. The individual will have demonstrated leadership capability. The day shift roster is 12hrs per day, 8 days on, 6 off, reporting to the Superintendent, Utilities Maintenance Coast.
Responsibilities in this role will have you :
Supervising, coordinating and monitoring the execution of scheduled work plans and unplanned or breakdown work
Ensure compliance to all Statutory Electrical Regulations and Australian Standards
Promoting electrical awareness and safe work practices
Recommend improvements for existing processes and methods
Ensuring electrical installing work is recorded by E Notice for the Senior Site Executive to sign off.
Managing safety investigations, preparing reports with recommendations and implementing corrective or preventative actions
About you
To be considered for this role, you will have:
'A' Grade Electrical Licence
Previous experience as In-House Electrical Nominee
A manual C Class Driver's Licence
Experience in Hydrocarbons electrical installations
Proficient in use of the SAP maintenance systems
Knowledge of RTIO policies.
At least 5 years’ experience in maintenance of electrical installations on a mine site or similar industry
Good interpersonal, communication and stakeholder engagement skills to achieve a positive safety attitude
Work with Contractor Management, Tech Advisor and Engineering personnel
Coordinate electrical support to fellow Mechanical Services teams.
It will also be beneficial if you have:
Experience in investigation, recording, reporting and acting on outcomes from electrical reports, incidents, hazards and faults
