We currently have a vacancy for an Supervisor Electrical LV Reticulation & Maintenance, reporting to the Fixed Plant Electrical Superintendent (Mine).
The Challenge Ahead
As an Electrical Supervisor within Mine Fixed Plant Maintenance, you will play a key leadership role in supporting the safe, reliable and efficient operation of Olympic Dam’s underground electrical infrastructure. Leading a team of Electrical Technicians, you will create a strong culture of care, accountability and continuous improvement while delivering planned and reactive maintenance activities across critical fixed plant assets.
Working closely with maintenance, mining and reliability teams, you will contribute to maintenance planning, electrical system improvements and special projects, helping ensure compliance with statutory requirements, operational standards and maintenance strategies.
What You’ll Bring to the Role
Electrical Trade qualification or tertiary qualification in a related Electrical discipline.
South Australian Electrical Licence, or ability to obtain one.
Leadership or supervisory experience within electrical maintenance, electrical reticulation, mining, minerals processing or industrial environments.
Strong understanding of statutory compliance and electrical safety requirements.
Experience in HV and LV installation, maintenance, commissioning and testing.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
Strong communication skills and ability to build effective cross-functional relationships.
Commitment to safety, wellbeing and developing diverse teams.
Desirable: Working at Heights, Integrated Tool Carrier, HRWL Dogging and underground mining experience.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a culture of safety, care, accountability and continuous improvement.
Supervise weekly maintenance schedules and prioritise work based on risk and equipment condition.
Coach, mentor and develop team capability and competency.
Allocate resources to achieve safe and effective maintenance outcomes.
Deliver planned and unplanned electrical maintenance, installation and modification work.
Support reliable operation of underground electrical and communications infrastructure.
Complete testing, commissioning, inspections and technical reporting activities.
Collaborate with reliability and planning teams on short and long-term maintenance plans.
Provide SME support for electrical system repairs, remediation and reliability improvement initiatives.
Coordinate in-house projects and contribute to root cause investigations and corrective actions.

This position is based at Olympic Dam, South Australia and operates on a 7 days on / 7 days off day shift roster offering
