About the Role
These maintenance activities will all need to be carried out in a safe and efficient manner to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and liveability in our BHP Organisation. You will be working across Olympic Dam’s Infrastructure facilities Portfolio on a residential or FIFO, DIDO or BIBO (bus in / bus out) options working a Monday to Friday| 5/2 arrangement . If you are relocating for this position, you will be provided with subsidised rental accommodation in addition to power and water subsidies. In this role your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): • Demonstrate an overriding commitment to health, safety, environment responsibility and sustainable development • Positive customer relationships through effective communication and consultation • Active involvement and good understanding in the corrective and preventative maintenance planning process • Complete Field Leadership activities • Manage events in Event Management System (EMS) assign and mitigate any safety and /or hazard requirements • Using Root Cause Analysis (RCA) principals and/or Timeline and 5 Why to facilitate all investigations • Ensure quality of safety documentation is completed • Coach team members • Overview for Planning, scheduling and execution of maintenance work orders and activities • Ensure the ongoing use of 1SAP to “Work Manage” out of scope work and in scope work where services are required • Prepare, attend and facilitate continuous improvement BOS activities to develop a healthy pipeline of improvements • Create, Manage, Review and Approve all costs (via 1SAP) associated to BAU cost control • Maintain an oversight of the monthly forecast vs. actual spend
About You
As our successful candidate, you will possess the following: • Proven supervisory experience managing Contracting Business Partners. • Has existing computer literacy and able to successfully use the following systems - 1SAP, Fiori, MS Excel and Word • Hold a valid Australian C class driver’s license • Holds a Maintenance Trade related Qualification • Has had exposure to BHP reporting system suite including Microsoft office package. • Proven experience working with a Health Safety Environment Community (HSEC) requirements including monitoring, reporting and management. • Have a mix of experience in both Domestic work and Mining Operations • Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills • A proven track record of safety management • Must be able to work at a high standard autonomously • Strong communication and relationship management skills • Confidence to speak up • Good communication skills both written and verbal • Has the ability and experience to manage budgets.
