About the role

We’re looking for two Fixed Plant Supervisors with strong safety leadership to lead a team of Fixed Plant Production operators in the safe delivery of daily production targets, daily inspections of the plant and assisting in maintaining plant reliability. One will commence straight onto the 8/6/7/7 roster, while the other will start on the 2/1 while the site transitions.
Our operation consists of three separate mines located in the Pilbara of Western Australia. Each mine has its own ore processing facility which is transported via conveyor to a central processing plant.

Reporting to the Superintendent Fixed Plant Shutdowns and working in a challenging and exciting environment within our Plant Operations team, you will:
- Build a safe work environment where zero harm is our goal
- Demonstrate ability to consistently achieve safety and operational outcomes and delivery of target
- Understanding of the mining industry from both an operational and technical perspective
- Be an inspiring role model and coach for positive behaviours, practices and processes, whilst providing leadership, development and support to your team
- Complete daily inspections of work areas and regular on the job interactions with the team to develop a safe and efficient work culture
- Leading, organising, developing and motivating your team to exceed expectations and targets
- Ensure clear direction and stakeholder management is upheld within direct area of accountability
- Process works in alignment with the Work Management System
What you’ll bring

- A current and valid ‘C Class’ manual driver's licence
- Experience in operating- Wet fines plants, screen houses, primary secondary & tertiary crushers, TLO and bridge reclaimers. – (Desirable)
- Proficient in the use of SAP
It will also be beneficial if you have:
- Contractor Management experience
- Demonstrated experience leading and executing small scale projects
- Fixed plant maintenance exposure – (desirable)
