About Mt Arthur Coal

Mt Arthur Coal is an open-cut coal mine 100 per cent owned by BHP. Located in the Hunter Valley, New South Wales it's the largest producer of energy coal in the region, operating alongside olive growers, wine makers, horse breeders and the nearby residential community of Muswellbrook.Our greatest asset is and has always been our people and communities, which is why we are committed to working together on our Pathway to 2030 - a program to responsibly close Mt Arthur Coal. About the Role

We are currently seeking expressions of interest for a Maintenance Supervisor within the CHPP Department. The role is

a permanent position working a day work pattern roster and will report to the Maintenance Superintendent.

This role presents an opportunity for an emerging or experienced leader to contribute to safe, efficient and reliable CHPP

operations while supporting team development and performance.

About You

  • Demonstrated experience in Contractor Management.
  • Preferred Supervisory experience or can demonstrate leadership capability.
  • Knowledge of the 1SAP Work Management & Risk Management process (Desirable but not essential).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

In this role you will

  • Lead a multi-skilled team across all areas of the CHPP, fostering a strong safety and performance culture.
  • Provide day-to-day operational oversight through inspections, hazard reporting and breakdown response.
  • Work alongside Processing, Logistics and Mining teams to achieve production and quality targets.
  • Support the training and development of your team to build capability.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in safety, reliability and operational performance.
